Nomad Theatre will be raffling off an original art work created by local artist, Jessie Sweich to support Prairie Pride Coalition Pride of the Prairie Scholarship.. This artwork appears in the short play THE PORTRAIT written by Bruce Karp of Florida. The story is about two friends who reunite after high school. One is an artist, the other is dying of AIDS. The artists agrees to paint his portrait for an art show. The play festival will be presented at McLean County Arts Center March 5th and 8th. Please consider purchasing a raffle ticket to support the Prairie Pride Coalition Pride of the Prairie Scholarship. You need not be present to win. Tickets will also be available for purchase at the performance. The painting will be raffled after the March 8th performance.
