About the Playwright
Pamela Morgan is a Midwest-based playwright and author, whose work focuses on the authentic experiences of everyday people. She loves exploring age, gender roles, faith and fanaticism, and the beauty of humanity through its failures. Pamela was a finalist for the Judith Royer Excellence in Playwriting Award, a winner of the KCACTF Region 3 award for Full Length Plays, and the Grand Prize Winner of the Emerging Artist New Play Festival at the Renaissance Theatre/Theatre 166, 2022-2023. Her children's book, Simply Skye, is set for release in the Fall of 2023 and features a child exploring gender norms through their doll.
